At IBB Hotel Collection and Cugó Gran Collection, we believe that luxury hospitality and environmental responsibility go hand in hand. As we celebrate International Day of Forests, we take pride in our commitment to reforestation and community support through our partnership with Treeapp.
Our impact so far
Thanks to our eco-conscious initiatives and the generosity of our guests, we have planted a total of 2,699 trees to date. These trees are making a real difference, contributing to:
- 294.19 tonnes of CO2 absorbed – helping combat climate change.
- 27 workdays created for local communities – supporting livelihoods and economic growth.
- 18,002.33 m² of land reforested – restoring biodiversity and preserving natural habitats.
Expanding our private forest in Tanzania
Between October 2024 and now, we have raised additional funds to plant 1,786 more trees, adding to those we have already planted. This expansion will further strengthen our impact, increasing carbon absorption, creating more job opportunities, and restoring even more land.
Our latest batch of trees was planted in a private area within Treeapp’s Tanzania project, establishing our very own private forest space. We are excited to announce that our next batch of trees will be planted alongside the previous one, continuing to expand our contribution to this thriving ecosystem.
