Head of Marketing

Our welcoming hotels, each of which proudly has its own unique identity reflecting the cultural spirit of its location are seeking a new Marketing manager to further strengthen their positioning in the market.   The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is responsible for the delivery and execution of the Marketing Plan in line with the Marketing Budget. Specifically, he/she:   The duties would entail:  
  • Provides direct line management for the Marketing team (digital marketing executive and graphic designer)
  • Marketing plans and budget.
  • Working closely with sales and revenue teams to reach targets
  • Oversees the production of sales/marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content.
  • Maintains, manages and develops the corporate and hotel websites in collaboration with 3rd party providers
  • Regular marketing campaigns to clients and prospects.
  • Regular discussions with hotel managers.
  • Explore ways of improving existing the position of existing services, and bringing new services to market.
  • Identifies new target markets and develops strategies to communicate with them.
  • Oversees and manages the company’s presence on social media, ensuring the brand is best positioned.
  • Is responsible for the content and delivery of monthly client and internal newsletters.
  • Acts as the liaison between marketing and design agencies, print suppliers, freelance talent, and various 3rd party marketing services.
  • Is responsible for event management and associated logistics in collaboration with others.
  The ideal candidate:  
  • A proven background of delivering successful sales marketing returns, experience in the hotel industry will be taken into account.
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in sales, marketing and business administration or a related subject.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential (English is mandatory)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Able to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills to ensure workload priority and multi-tasking.
  • Able to meet multiple deadlines and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
  • Other languages will be taken into account, Spanish, German and Polish.
  • Experience in the luxury sector will be taken into account.

  • A full-time position with an open-ended contract.
  • Hybrid/remote work is an option, provided that the candidate can occasionally commute to one of our IBB or Von der Heyden Group offices and does not live close to one of these offices.
