We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Human Resources Executive to join our team in Malta and oversee the HR requirements for our German properties. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Executive will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, managing and executing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, and fostering a positive work environment for our employees.
The Duties:
- Lead the talent acquisition efforts for our German properties, attracting and recruiting top talent through various channels, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
- Administer employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Assist the DoHR in performance evaluations and provide guidance on performance improvement.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and employment standards.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries, policies, and procedures.
- Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to enhance HR operations.
- Payroll Administration
- Conduct basic training on HRI Systems and on the organization's Policies and Procedures
- A degree in Human Resources or in Business Administration
- Proven work experience as an HR Executive or similar role, with a focus on the German market.
- In-depth knowledge of German labor laws, regulations, and employment standards.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Flexibility to work reduced hours (part-time) while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
- Open to travel at short notice
