IBB Hotel Collection launches room design and Restaurant Concept in Altmühltal-Eichstätt – SUMMER 2020

IBB Hotel Collection continues to grow its presence in Europe with a new sophisticated hotel in the historical city of Bavaria, Eichstatt. The IBB Hotel Altmühltal-Eichstatt is the group’s twelfth hotel, and sixth one successfully launched in Germany.

 

IBB Hotel Altmühltal-Eichstätt held a launch event officially announcing its opening to the public in the summer of 2020. The pan-European franchise has presented the four-star hotel, offering 90 comfortable rooms and suites in various categories that perfectly reflects the landscape of the Altmühl valley. Award winning designers Reimann Architecture, celebrated the expressive contemporary design of the rooms with the distinctive identity of Eichstätt. Managing Director of Reimann Architecture Julius Reimann, a native of Eichstätt conveyed the local reference in his design concepts using tones, colours and texture schemes inspired by the hotel’s natural surroundings; mirroring the elegance of nature. Scandinavian styles in furniture was selected to further strengthen the tone of natural simplicity, creating a modern and open atmosphere through its clear design.

“With Andreas Hofrichter we welcome an experienced chef, who is rooted in the region and who implements the philosophy of fresh regional cuisine in the best possible way. The “Staderer” will develop into a new gastronomic hotspot in the Altmühltal”, Vladimir Saal, Managing Director of the internationally operating IBB Hotel Collection, is convinced.

The hotel cuisine, inspired by the region and its tradition, along with a breathtaking river view from the restaurant terrace is a special highlight for IBB IBB Hotel Altmühltal-EichstättThe hotel’s restaurant Straderer is led by star chef Andreas Hofrichter, a long-standing and  upcoming star chef dedicated to the Slow Food concept; in creating dishes that are not only sustainable, but that celebrate the heritage of his dishes. As a long-standing chef of the much sought-after restaurant “Maletter” and member of the international gastronomic initiative “Slow Food”, Hofrichter has made a name for himself beyond the borders of the city of Eichstätt. In addition to the restaurant with its spacious terrace directly on the Altmühltal cycle path, a hotel bar with bistro and barista coffee shop complete the gastronomic offer of the IBB Hotel Altmühltal-Eichstätt.

The IBB Hotel Collection will under a long-term lease agreement with partner of the hotel Martin Meier DIE BAUFAMILIE. “We are looking forward to the opening of our hotel with great pleasure. Both the gastronomic orientation with chef Andreas Hofrichter and the successful design with its echoes of the culturally rich landscape of the Altmühltal will give new impetus to the tourist development of the central Altmühltal”, emphasises the representative of the client, managing director Markus Meier.
